Theological Diversity

Two pastors don’t think alike, even no two professors think alike. Better ministers are made when they were introduced and trained from a lively theological diversity.

Original Languages

Not all seminaries require Greek and Hebrew or Aramaic. But the professors will know those languages and our student ministers will be exposed to professors who read those texts well and how, why, and when it matters for sermons, devotion and for ministry.

Entry Requirements

12 months Part-Time

GENERAL CERTFICATE IN THEOLOGY

  • WAEC/GCE’’O’level
  • Certificate in Biblical Studies (from recognized seminary/Biblical Institution)
  • 750 words write up of conversion experience.

DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY

  • WASC/GCE ‘O’level.(five credits)
  • Evidence of having obtained certificate in Theology/Biblical Studies from accredited Bible Institution
  • Bachelors or Postgraduate Degree in any areas of secular Disciplines.
  • 1000 words of write up of conversion experience.

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN THEOLOGY

  • All requirements as stated for Diploma in Theology
  • Diploma in Theology from an accredited Bible Institution
  • 2,500 words write up of conversion experience

Training & Policy

URCCM is a citadel of Bible Scholars with decades of spiritual and theological knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

OUR TEACHERS

  • Whose basic qualification should be a born again Christian
  • Whose Christian life should be conspicuous and contagious.
  • Who should have a daily manifestation of the power of the new anointing both in teaching and practice
  • Whose academic qualification should be fair enough (not really a theologian) with the ability to effectively communicate biblical doctrines in English and or any other vernacular language
  • Who should be ready to be a student in all circumstances. He must also be research oriented.
  • Who should be a leader that makes things happen in humility, perseverance and sacrifice.

OUR STUDENTS

  • Who should be a developing Christian whose love for Bible surpasses all other things on earth.
  • Who should be a student in obedience, punctuality and practice.
  • Who should be literate enough to be able to receive lectures and take notes either in English or any vernacular language.
  • Who should be ready to sacrifice as the demand lasts, financially, physically, socially and spiritually
  • Who is ready to be a builder of the Seminary to the fullest expansion, all to the glory of God.

OUR COLLEGE/SEMINARY

  • Whose organogram should be spiritually, socially, academically and theologically balanced.
  • That should have a broad-based and spirituallywhetted curriculum.
  • That should be more of spirituality than theological
  • That should aid teachers in their researches.
  • That should give the teachers enough courage and confidence to teach.

WHY WE CHARGE TUITION?

  1. A deeper level of commitment becomes obtainable from fee tuition paying students.
  2. People appreciate what costs them something and loosely handle what costs them nothing.
  3. Students/ Trainees tend to ignore homework and class work even attendance when they have not invested something into the class.
  4. Tuition charging allows a roll - back of funds to lift the ministry to a higher ground.

SCHOLARSHIP

The Seminary will give scholarship to deserving Bible student (strictly on ministry/church’s recommendation of such student) to cover tuition fees only. The student will endeavour to pay for Handouts and Book Projects.
